Investing in community safety: Defibrillators installed across Redcliffe Homes developments
At Redcliffe Homes, we believe building homes is about more than bricks and mortar; it’s about creating safe, connected communities. That’s why we’ve recently invested over £6,000 in six new defibrillators with AED cabinets, ensuring life-saving equipment is available at our head office and accessible to visitors at our active developments across the South West.
Why defibrillators matter
Defibrillators are vital in emergencies, giving someone the best possible chance of survival during a cardiac arrest. By making these units available at our headquarters and for visitors at our active sites, we’re providing peace of mind for visitors and our own team members.
This initiative was championed by Bridget Brimicombe, Sales & Marketing Coordinator, who recognised the importance of making this investment for the benefit of both staff and visitors.
Bridget explains:
“Defibrillators save lives, and it felt important that we made this investment not only for our team but also for visitors at our developments. It’s reassuring to know this equipment is there, should it ever be needed.”
Supporting communities beyond housebuilding
Our Chief Executive, Tom O’Connor, added:
“We are really proud of Bridget for bringing this idea forward and delighted to support her initiative. Having defibrillators accessible at our active sites provides peace of mind and reflects our ongoing commitment to the well-being of our staff and local communities.”
This initiative is just one part of Redcliffe’s ongoing commitment to local people and places. In 2024 alone, we donated over £168,000 to charities and local causes, supporting projects that enhance everyday life for the communities we serve.
For us, quality homes go hand in hand with caring for the people who live in and around them.
